The Gym, Chicken Feet and New Friends

Well I've been pretty good about going to the gym lately.
Up until now I've had plenty of time for it.
With my new schedule I haven't had much time for...well anything.
The gym hours are from 9am till 9pm.
My first class is at 9am and my last class is at 8:30pm.
With travel time from the school that gives me about 15 minutes to work out.
And by then I'm just too tired anyway!

The gym here is just like the ones in the good old USA.
Plenty of cardio machines...Bikes, treadmills...

The view from the cardio area.

A big aerobics area with top of the line equipment.

And a friendly staff.

A great place to work out!
And the price can't be beat....6 months...36 bucks!

Free weights.

Chicken Feet

Well while I was at the grocery store the other day I saw some vacuum packed chicken feet.
Some people just LOVE chicken feet!
I bought some just to take a picture of...I'll probably give them to somebody who likes them.
I haven't acquired the taste for them yet...Heck, I haven't even tried them.
AND WONT!

Dinner

Saturday night Jenny from Journey East took all the American teachers out for dinner.
We went to a bigger town about 25 minutes by cab called Hughou.
This is the same place I visited when Keith came to town.
Jenny introduced us to some other Americans who were teaching there.
A great bunch of people from all over America.

Starting at the front with the fellow with the mustache going counter clockwise.
Jake, Megan, Jenny, Lilly, Robyn, John, Eva, Aaron, Nelly and Adam.
You might recognise some of them from past posts in my blog.

Cheers...(Again)

Aaron and Eva on the left...From Changxing.

This is the left overs from a feast!

Robyn and Lilly hitting it off with a little girl chat.

Jenny's checking out a bottle of China's finest red wine...Great Wall of China wine.

Say "Cheese"!

Adam likes his beer!

KTV

After dinner we were invited by the Chinese teachers to go to the KTV bar.
Personally, I didn't want to go but the Chinese teachers would probably lose face if some of us didn't show up after dinner.
Don't get me wrong...We all had a blast.

The Chinese DO love their karaoke!

Don't ask me how, but we got Aaron to sing too....I didn't think he had THAT much to drink?!

And like Jim before China....Some people just don't sing in public.
Shower singers only!!

Robyn and Jake did a duet that could have made MTV.

Girls being girls!

Boys being boys!

Clowns clowning around.

A great time was had by all!!
