A Little More School Stuff
When I was getting ready to come to China I was wondering how many clothes I should pack.
I thought maybe I would pack light and buy clothes as I needed.
Someone said that I may have a problem finding clothes that fit me in China.
Chinese people are small...usually.
This is Michael...he is 15 years old...And I thought I might have trouble finding clothes that fit.
I really enjoy teaching at this school!
The staff is very friendly and they work very hard!
This is Lilly...I met her in Houghou a few months ago when Keith was here.
This is Vickie...We had lunch together today.
Here are some of the kids on their way to the cafeteria.
Mr. Jim....That's me.
The kids in the cafeteria...they let me cut in line...I get flashbacks of when my teachers used to cut in front of me back in good old Maxwell Middle School.
This is the stuff we drink...NO soda's here!
When the kids see me they all start saying"Here...here...cut in front of me", I think...In Chinese of course.
The teachers all have their own little helpers.
Such friendly faces!
Grading papers...
These teachers have a ton of papers to grade...notice the stack of books in the background.
This is Foe...I explained to him what foe meant in english...Friend...not foe!
Most of these teachers are here at 6:30 am and stay till after 9 pm.
A mountain of books to grade.
These are some very hard working teachers.
Just thought I would share these pictures ....
Jim
