Computer down

Well my computer that I brought from America died the other day.
The school gave me a loaner to use but their IT guy is on vacation so I am having to navigate using Chinese characters...NOT easy!!
When he gets back he can download the English version for me.
Maybe he can fix mine too?

The loaner is not letting me download pictures, so until I get that figured out this is all I have.

No much new going on around here...lots of fireworks going off all the time.
Chinese National Holiday!

I went on a day trip with some new Chinese friends. Guess where they took me? The Buddhist Temple. I got to see my old Buddhist friend again.

Then we went to a hotel for tea and then to dinner.

I took lots of pictures as usual but can't do anything with them at the moment.

A couple of days ago I got tonsillitis...went to the local Dr. They use IVs for everything around here. So I got to sit around in a room full of Chinese people with an IV in my arm for a couple of hours. My friends Jaer and Gary came and hung out with me...thanks guys!!

Since my computer died I had the owner of my school bring me a DVD player so I can at least watch some movies.
Before that I would just watch them on my PC.

Anyway I'm feeling better now and thinking about going to Shanghai for a couple of days...I just talked to a friend in Shanghai and he said the crowds were CRAZY!
I may wait till after the holidays.
